The interview with Malik is good, yet sad in a way. He says how he did things to Pop to bother him last year to retaliate against how Pop was treating him, and then he got bench. And how Malik feels that if he didn't do those things, Pop may have played him vs the Lakers and maybe the Spurs would have a third championship. It seems like Malik has matured a lot about how he is going to handle things from now on.
I like those unedited sit downs. Bruce (and Manu) are two of the most likeable and down to earth fellas you'll find in the league. I have not met them personally but I'll bet that people who have (Timvp, Kori etc) would definitely agree. These guys are genuine and great representatives of SA and their fans.
Everyone should watch the Malik video. It explains a lot.
Boy I guess Pop isnt the big asshole in this whole thing.
Dissapointing to hear Malik was ike that, but geat to hear he has grown up and is gonna take this season seriously.
A motivated and serious Malik Rose = Winning.
Malik Rose is more mental than a woman.
He should be traded immediately.
Not really. He hasn't called back since Sunday night. It seems like Malik has matured a lot about how he is going to handle things from now on.![]()
