The scary thing is the kings look like the better team. They could've been up 3-1 in this series if Artest wasn't suspended. I agree it's going 7 and the kings already proved once this year they can win in San Antonio. Should be a classic finish.
I think this thing is going the distance. I thought the Kings were dangerous with Artest and they are proving me right. It will be difficult for the winner to defeat a well-rested Mavs team in the 2nd round.

^What!? Dude, the SPURS could/should easily be up 3-1. The Kings got sickly lucky in Game3, and the Spurs just laid down in Game2 BECAUSE Artest wasn't playing!
The trend is not encouraging though...a close win...then as close loss...then a monumental ass whippin...
whats next?
The Spurs show up with some kind of game to kick ass on the kings.
That's what's next!
I thought from the start, even after game 1, that the Kings could win games 3 and 4 at home, although I was hoping they wouldn't.
I'm still going to say Spurs in 6.
The Spurs have turned into a 3 point shooting team in the playoffs. If they hit the 3 pointers, they win, if they don't, they lose.
They can win series, if they hit the shots.
I'm saying spurs in 7. I don't know if the kings can win in San Antonio.
Kings should charter a boat for Saturday; CA state waters are now open for salmon...
"The Spurs have turned into a 3 point shooting team in the playoffs"
That was true already during the season. With Tim unable to score in the paint, Spurs turned into a jumpshooting/3G team.
Spurs were 23/43 3G in Games1,2, 53%, won both games
Spurs were 9/33 in Games3,4, 27%, lost both games.

Mavs should be scared.
The Spurs are just getting warmed up.
The mavs will be resting while the spurs have to grind out a long series with the kings. I'd say the plans have worked perfectly for the mavs and they will be ready for the spurs.
Mavs think they are in round 2 already???? this is good news, typical Mavs idiocy
I hope there is a vbookie, I might just bet all my vbookie that Memphis will win the next 2
The trend is encouraging.
Big win.
Close win.
Close loss.
Big loss.
Repeat.
Big win.
Close win.
So I guess the Spurs got the series in six.![]()
I don't think fans can alter a game but I'm pretty sure the mavs sweep tonight. The grizzlies are built for the regular season more than any other team with the exception being the suns.![]()
I am saying Spurs in 6. Game 5 +10pts, Game 6 overtime, but Spurs have experience.
yeah i think thats true the kings they have improved now that they r in the playoffs and if artest wasnt suspended i think that the kings would given a harder game that nigh the series should be 3-1
Damn.. How much more effort could they have given with Artest in? Martin goes off for 26 points or so. Wells shoots like 70%, SAR shoots almost 65%. Three guys, SAR, Martin and Thomas go 100% from Free Throw Line. I'm not sure I can see where there would have been a better effort coming with Artest in the line up.
Series is just where it should be right now. Spurs win one they should have probably lost, and Kings win one they probably should have lost.
BB is a crazy game. , the Suns managed to lose twice in one game. Go figure. MVP cost them twice in one game.
Manu went off for 31 in that game. Artest would've guarded Manu and shut him down like in games 3 and 4.
The Spurs are playing like bull . If they wanna wear themselves out by playing 7 games in the first round, that's fine, but if they keep playing like this when they reach the finals, Detroit will win in 5.
