NBA Investigates Kaman Incident

The NBA is investigating an incident in Saturday's 100-86 victory in Game 4 that led to center Chris Kaman's being assessed a flagrant foul.
The foul was called with 8 minutes 45 seconds remaining in the second quarter when Kaman shoved Denver forward Reggie Evans.
Kaman said he told referees that Evans grabbed his testicles and "pulled hard," and repeated his account in an interview Sunday with an NBA security official.
TV replays appeared to indicate Evans put his hand under Kaman's shorts as they battled for position near the basket.
"I told [the NBA] in complete detail what happened," Kaman said. "The three refs also knew what happened."
Kaman, who played despite being slowed by a viral illness, said he considered punching Evans.
"With what we're trying to do, I didn't want to get thrown out," he said. "I thought about it, but I knew what would happen.
"One of the refs said he would have knocked [him] out. It was crazy."
The Clippers were surprised by Evans' actions, to say the least.
"When I saw it on TV, it was like, 'Wow,' " 13-year veteran Sam Cassell said. "I asked the referees about it at halftime, and Jess Kersey, who has been in the league for [29] years, said he's never seen anything like it.
"You know what, Reggie is a good guy. I think he just lost it for a minute."

This is in the NBA forum but it's worth noting here.
It was horrible. I don't get why a player would intentionally grab another player's nuts.
Isn't there a cardinal rule prohibiting this or something?
The video was ridiculous. I can't believe Kaman could restrain from punching him.

Maybe thats why Reggie always has a smile on his face! Good pickings in a basketball game. Seriously, that was a sick thing to do.
That was a very sick thing for Evans to do. I just could not believe it. Maybe Reggie will give Cassell a nipple twist in the next game.
Reggie Evans may be missing a few lobes in his brain.

Did anyone see the post-game interview with Kaman?
He kept saying "he grabbed my nuts" . . . he might have even said "balls".

Reggie has always been dirty. Sonics fans will tell you that he was dirtiest guy around.
But grabbing someone's nuts??
I've never heard that happening anywhere else.
Maybe it wasn't a grab, but Robert Horry's hands got familiar with David Robinson's jewels in 2003.

Incidental contact is part of the game, there was a photo of Manu palming Artest's nalgas from front to back.....but to reach.....inside.... shorts..... locate....cusp......tighten.....pull.....that's just insane.....

What's ironic is Chris Kaman was saving himself for marriage.
Guess that plan went out the window.
In some cultures I believe Kaman and Reggie are married now.
