Probably, they had no chance... ever. Far-fetched dreams.no offense to the nuggs but were these guys dellusional?
- Carmelo Anthony
OUCH
and
"It's definitely disappointing and frustrating not to get out of the first round," said Denver's Marcus Camby, who had six points and 11 rebounds. "We had dreams of winning the championship."
no offense to the nuggs but were these guys dellusional?

Don't you think every team in the playoffs has dreams/hopes of winning the le? I think that's pretty normal.
@ the KG comment
haha thats true Kori but I thought they were supposed to say that to the press
i didn't think these guys thought, being the worst #3 WC seed of all time, they'd actually truly believe it!
Amen. If any player in the playoffs has "dreams of lossing a series," they dont belong in the playoffs.![]()
Carmelo won't be getting a Christmas card from the Garnett's this year.
The thing is they shouldnt have been a 3 seed. The seeding is all effed up this year.
Watch KG somehow get traded to Denver.![]()
Ah making fun of KG and the t-wolves is always fun![]()
all i'm saying is
had they said "well, we thought we could hang with this team (the clippers) but we just couldn't get it done" i could totally understand
but if this team seriously thought they had a legitamate chance getting past any of the following teams
SA, dallas, phoenix, let alone the pistons!
they were just in denial
also i think george karl is a bit of a cancer. seems like every city he goes to he's ALWAYS gotta have problems with one of the players. whether its payton in seattle, ray allen in milwaukee (and maybe cassel as well??), or K mart in denver, the guy is always spilling bad blood
not to say the k mart thing is his fault, but i would never ever go near an unclassy like george karl for a coach. he has done some good job with a lot of teams but causes a lot of friction within the locker room. did he have a problem with G Rob as well?
Is it too late to somehow end up on that side of the bracket?
i dont blame Melo........he needs a new supporting cast and im sure it will come in the offseason.........its a good wake up call for the organisation
they will be back and much better next season if healthy (a big IF) and if the right personnel changes are made this offseason
Don't cry for KG. He's a rich man...
Anyone that get's paid buku bucks to play ball is lucky...
KG knows the truth hurts and he deserves every penny for it
blame K-Mart Melo
at least there's something to blame on
During the season, the Nuggets had a much better record without KMart than with him playing.

Denver would be wise to quit bringing in gangsters and get some skilled players to handle the work load. The Najeras and Evans are a dime a dozen.
yeah, but ya'll would have had to lose more than the clippers, or both SA and Dallas would have had to lose more than the suns
