Just by his decision to tank the last 2 wks of the season to get a much more favorable road to WCFs, Mike deserves the COY, because his Clippers cruised through rd 1 against the horrible Nuggets instead of the Mavs. Fratello was an idiot to beat out Clippers to get Dallas in rd 1, instead of HCA against Denver, and an easier series by a mile.

Larry Brown the real coach of the year to tank the entire season, so when the team is actually pretty good next year, he's glorified even more.

Too bad Isiah Thomas won't even be considered for Exec of the Year. He's made stupid business decisions in the past, but the stupidest decision of his entire life was screwing the Knicks out of a Lottery Pick through the Curry trade. Not only that, but he handed what would've been a Knicks Lottery Pick to a PLAYOFF TEAM!

Same strategy as the year before DRob was a rookie.
the things is, the Clips are doomed in round 2.........the played a Nuggets team that has been at its worst since the pre-melo era.....
Guys were fighting with each other, with Karl......People were divided over the K suspension........The captain and Melo have called for new guys in the offseason......
i think the Clips had it too easy in the 1st round and i think it may work against them coz the Lakers are playing confident, positive, with alot of heart and most importantly they are playing team ball
none of which Denver did all series, so i think the Lakers will actually get it done in round 2.
Eh, I don't think it matters who the Clips played in the first round or how bad they were.
Clips vs. Lakers is going to be so geeked, you can throw everything that happened before out the window. It's not going to be a normal playoff series.
But did the Spurs at least have a draft pick then?
