Anyone here still play battlefield 2 PC?

I wanted to rent a dedicated ranked server but the prices are nuts. $100-250 a month or more.

So the idea is that we can build a favorites list and or post an IP of the day for people to meet at play.

Yes you can shoot me, blow me up and run me over with a tank. Who would not want to do that??

Really it's a great game. Simple shooter does not take a lot of time like a MMOG game.

If your pc is older I would suggest trying demo first to check and see if it runs good enough. Needs a pixel shader card.

Hum well I have full version (can't play against demo online). It's worth the money.

I am not going to put the demo on unless maybe a TON of people here start playing the demo. NP I just wanted to get this thread out so anyone that wants to play can post the IP. We can resurrect it later if there is interest. Or let it die an ugly death.

i need to buy a wireless router adapter for my computer upstairs which has BF2 on it. then i will be up for it.

I love BF2 but my current PC can't handle it. I need a new video card but I don't have the cash to spend on a decent one right now. Maybe now that garage sale season is starting I can salvage one or something.

Yeah I need to upgrade to then I'll be more than happy to get owned by you guys. That, and Im currently addicted to World of Warcraft.
