NBA champs taking 'Spurs Experience' to the streets

Fresh off of an important game 5 victory over the Sacramento Kings in Round 1 of the 2006 NBA playoffs, the San Antonio Spurs are introducing a new promotional bus that will soon be touring the streets of San Antonio.

Branded the "Spurs Experience," San Antonio's defending NBA champions have converted a recreational vehicle into a traveling road show of Spurs memorabilia.

Spurs officials say they have teamed up with H-E-B, Ancira RV and Best Buy to create the new "one of a kind" mobile attraction. Team officials say the new basketball-themed vehicle was designed to take the spirit of the Spurs to fans across the city.

According to the Spurs, the new "Spurs Experience" RV will feature an exhibition of team collectibles. It will also include video-gaming equipment and other interactive opportunities for NBA fans.

Spurs officials say the new vehicle was designed to "promote a unique atmosphere that allows the Spurs fan to feel like they are traveling in a decked-out Spurs museum."

The new "Spurs Experience" vehicle will make a number of stops throughout the community during the year.
