I would expect ABC/ESPN and the NBA to studiously ignore it. It'll take Barkley yelling "Popovich!" several times over several months for them to finally have to admit the fact of a coaching tree.
I have not heard this mentioned but Pop's 2 proteges are still in the playoffs. Mike Brown and Avery have their teams amongst the final 8 which I think is pretty amazing. Considering Danny Ferry is the GM in Cleveland there are a lot of Pop's pupils succeeding this year. If Presti leaves now I can't imagine someone not noticing around the league what an amazing franchise we have become. We have long heard of Larry brown's assistants becoming great coaches and I beleive it is only a matter of time before we start hearing the same thing about Pop.

Mike Brown and Avery Johnson are both awesome. Too bad they can't win it all, huh?
