what do you mean one-month referral deal? Who did it?
During that one month, if someone referred you you got that price. I don't know if/when he's going to do it again. PM me and I can give you the Doc's contact info.
PM me. Do they take payment plans or something? If I can't see straight, I want to be able to hold out or something![]()
Be prepared to pay at LEAST 2k an eye, unless you want to end up jacked up.I wouldn't let just ANYONE with my eyes. I had mine done in 01, I wore contacts and had THICK glasses. I now see 20/15.

it just means that what a normal person can see at 15 feet he can see at 20
just like if you're 220/20 then what a normal person can see at 220 feet someone has to be 20 feet away to see.
you want the second number to be equal to 20 or lower in other words![]()
a friend of mine got hers done @ about 1800 an eye and she used a payment plan called LasikPlus (lasikplus.com) I think she pays about $55 a month.
There are a lot of different options for Lasik depending on what the story is with your eyes. If you have astigmatism, it's only become possible fairly recently to have Lasik, and even then it's only if the astigmatism isn't too bad.
Another thing is that if you have the age-related problem where you need bifocals (for reading and distance), Lasik may only take care of the distance issue.
Join The United States Army Its Free.....hoooooah?
Getting Lasik will cause you to need reading glasses SOONER.
I'd take reading glasses sooner over staying with the 20/650 vision I have now.
Sequ, I can hook you up for $50 an eye.
(I've almost finished building my laser . . . )
I think I can do it for you, gratis...it looks pretty easy to me.
Yeah, haven't you heard of "eyetooth"?
I was interested in getting lasik too. I recently had an eye infection due to falling asleep with my contacts on. Its a hassle.
you know if there is a difference in cost if you have astigmatism?
Just from one night sleeping in them? User wears his 6-month contacts for about 5 years and never takes them out.![]()
He is lucky! My eyes get irritated really quick and I am sick of contacts.
I think it costs more, since it's a newer technique/technology. I was going to look into more it later this year if we had any money left in our flex spending account ... sadly, it's all going into dental work for my wife.
I had an astigmatism and it didn't cost anything extra...
You can get it done cheaper in Canada.
It's also cheaper than $2K an eye in Los Angeles. A lot of my friends had it done by supposedly one of the best Lasik doctors in the country there for $2800.
