Then why in the didn't he play during the last two plays?

He's a ing allstar and he is sitting on the bench.

Dallas scored every ing possession almost in the fourth quarter.

We won 63 ing games and 3 championships playing our ing ball, defense and ing rebounding.

Avery is making Pop look like a .

    What the I say???

that, Pop can ing leave, bull I say.

Our lineups are ing stupid. We need to dictate the tempo and kick their ing asses.

that bull . I'm just ing pissed.

I wish Parker would just take over. I'm tired of him fading as the playoffs go every year. Im tired of him having one game of 29pts, then having 4 straight games where he takes more shots than he makes points. I don't give a if he shoots 50% if hes never gonna make free throws, or hit a three, or hes going to get tentative on offense if he isn't allowed so shred the defense.....

Manu isn't any better these playoffs. But I still wish Tony could play his game in the playoffs, and not get worse every year.....

    Please Tony!

Nikos, what are you talking about? Tony is averaging about 20ppg in the playoffs. In the Kings series, he scored 20 in 5 out of 6 games. He could barely walk in Games 1 and 2 and still went out there and averaged 17ppg in those two games. Sure both Manu and Tony sucked from the field tonight, but don't act like Tony has faded in these playoffs.

Sequ, they needed the perimeter shooters in to spread the floor.

Parker's J isn't good enough to spread the floor.

Parker needs 30 in Game 4. They are letting him go one-on-one.

I wondered why he wasn't even in the game on the last play??

Parker won't be in on a last play when the play isn't designed for him.

We saw what happened in Game 3 vs Sac when Bibby just left him to double Manu.

Because they had all the best 3 point shooters on the floor.

I really don't give a anymore. I want him to do well FROM NOW on. Regardless of injuries or whatever. Every year Parker fades as the playoffs go on. If he doesn't flat out kick ass I will be upset. Those are my standards for him. Show me all the stats you want on Round 1, but in my mind the Kings should have never posed the threat they did.

IMO the Spurs should have beaten the Kings easily even with a injured Parker and Manu.

It is flat out unacceptable if Tony doesn't play like the all star he was this season from now on. Now that Dallas has kicked the Spurs in the teeth, I want to see him play HIS GAME. Not just shoot 7-18 and have adecent FG%, but still look like he isn't half the player he was in the regular season.

Manu isn't going to kick ass this playoffs. He isn't going to help Duncan and Bowen to save the teams ass this year like he did last year. Just won't happen.

I expect Tony to pick up the slack for Manu's poor playoffs. THIS IS THE TIME. Time is running out. Yeah the Spurs have a great core blah blah blah. But with Manu not being able to play 20mpg next year, and Parker not playing his game in the playoffs practically EVERY YEAR, and Bowen getting older......what are the Spurs going to do these next few years? Rely on Duncan, aging perimeter, and Parker's all star regular season and subpar playoffs.

Sorry but I call it like I see it. Parker needs to find a way to step up if he is healthy enough to play big minutes. If he is severely injured the rest of the these playoffs then I understand. But the guy is CAPABLE of taking over the games against the elite teams like Dallas. The Kings is the past. The Kings were SUPPOSED to get beaten by the Spurs. I want Parker to kick ass NOW. Manu isn't going to be SUPERMANU this playoffs. Horry isn't going to pull out mircales. PARKER can squash all these problems by flat out taking over the rest of the series. He can do it. But if he doesn't I don't like the Spurs chances. It isn't his fault they lost today. It's his fault and Manu's that he Spurs aren't a great playoff team this year. But it's easier to expect more from Parker because he has been erratic EVERY PLAYOFF season.

Okay Nikos. So you want a guy who could LITERALLY barely walk the night before Game 2 to put up All-Star numbers when he doesn't have any lift?

    Good luck

When he's healthy, he'll put up Kings-series type numbers on MOST nights, if he's not, then he won't.

The Mavs are playing Tony in a way that he could drop 50 on them. They are sending NO help his way. The point guards are just letting him drive and he has to finish over their center. He's been doing this all year. He has to do it now in Game 4.

Manu did at the end of the game what Tony can and should do all game. Taking it to the hole and finishing ain't no thing for Tony.

    30 in Game 4.

So in essense the Spurs are losing cause of injuries? I don't know what to say really. If Tony is on the court playing for 35mpg+ I expect him to play HIS GAME. Simple. I don't know how banged up he is, I just watch the game as I see it. I feel Parker should play like the all star he is from now on. Can he do it? Or is he still extremely hurt RIGHT NOW?

Yeah I think he can (and will) in Game 4. But to dog him for gutting out games 1 and 2 is ridiculous.

Yes I watch the games. I watched all the Spurs playoff games since 2001. I practically got depressed for a week when they lost in 2004. And of course the thought always lingered after that. I get pissed when they lose (and that is an understatement). So yes, I most certainly WATCH the games.

No, he's not EXTREMELY hurt right now. Sure he's still banged up (he got re-kneed tonight I believe). But I talked to someone close to him the night before Game 2 and he literally could barely walk and thought at that time he wouldn't be able to go.

I think he's physically capable of doing what he needs to do now. In Games 1 and 2, he wasn't.

Alright good enough. I think it's just a little exaggeration, and it's understandable after a crappy loss like this one.

I am going to dog him out if he doesn't FROM NOW ON. As of now I am venting that he couldn't take over today. I don't honestly know how hurt he really is, HOW CAN ANYBODY? Especially when he plays 38min+? I am just saying, if he doesn't play HIS GAME, I will be extremely upset. And I won't be happy with TP's all star season if he fades from game 4 and on in this series.

Fine, if you don't think Parker looks like regular season Parker for the rest of the playoffs, call him out all you want.

So have you given up on Manu or what?

I think Manu can put in a nice game here and there. But the 2005 Playoff Manu is not there. He would need to get 25-26ppg on 55%+ shooting really for the rest of the series to even come close to playoff 05 Manu. Obviously won't happen. I don't really trust Manu to take over if Parker struggles or everyone but Duncan struggles on offense. He obviously can still have solid games. But that wasn't Manu last year. Last year he had a handful of poor games, the rest were either extremely efficient or flat out awesome. Even in some of his poor games where he turned the ball over late he had excellent and efficient numbers across the board.

Geez, the Spurs only need one win there in this series. Looking at tonight's game they're not exactly that far away.

They haven't looked too good these past two games. Isn't there a decent chance they may lose this series?
