I got to watch an exciting playoff game at a nice place with some great people. Not pissed at all. A little disappointed at the end of the game but that was it.
I'm not anymore. Now I have all the confidence in the world in Manu. I think him and Tim will combine for 70+ tomorrow. I also believe someone off the bench will score 15+ and I think Tony will be a non-factor, but he will play much better defense.
Let's do this! Spurs in 6!

I am still pissed. And I still am upset with Manu. I wish Tony could take over. I wish old Manu would show up. Spurs are showing signs, that even if they dug themselves out of this hole, the Pistons would have feasted on the Spurs anyway.
You still upset at Manu? why? even if you feel Manu was responsible for that last turnover (which he wasn't) the Spurs wouldn't even have been in the position to win the game if Tim and Manu didn't keep them in the game.![]()
Yeah, Nikos, you are definitely picking the wrong scapegoat.
Manu was in playoff form tonight. The Spurs played well on the offensive end, Duncan was a monster. The defense needs to pick up, but the foul calls were a big part of that.
I'm pissed the Spurs lost.
I'm pissed that Tim fouled out by having Dirk step on his foot.
I'm pissed that a lot of point blank shots didn't fall.
I'm pissed that there was a LOT of non-sensical calls and non-calls.
I'm pissed that Tony and Manu's games have practically deserted them.
I'm pissed that the bench is struggling.
I'm pissed that the Spur big men aren't contributing.
I'm pissed that the Mavs are pretty much keeping the Spurs out of the paint.
I'm pissed that the Mavs are out-defensing one of the best defensive teams in the league.
And most importantly, I'm pissed that I have to make this post because the Spurs are down to the Mavs, 2-1.
That clear things up any?
I'm very pissed, but that's because I just now finished watching the 4th quarter. I only saw the last 2 minutes of the 4th before, but now I watched the whole thing.
The refs were ing ridiculous. I haven't seen anything this blatant since Kings-Lakers Game 6 in the Conference Finals a few years back. I mean, this was atrocious. I can't believe Pop didn't get a T to send the zebras a message.
There were about 10 absolutely ludicrous calls on us in the 4th. The trip they called on Brent? Come on. The stupid play with Dirk where his own klutziness gets Tim fouled out? You'd think a 2 time MVP and a 3 time Finals MVP would get more respect.
The one shady call in our favor was on that Ginobili Howard play where they called a foul on him, BUT after that they blew another call in their favor by not T'ing him up, because he was acting like a jackass out there for 2 minutes after the call, ing the refs out.
Besides the refs, I'm also mad at Pop and his re ed small lineups, especially at the end, where apparently he expected us to get a rebound with Horry being our tallest player on the floor.
I'm also mad at Tony for generally playing like the whole game and letting Dirk get that last offensive rebound instead of just stepping in front of him and letting Dirk foul him over the back. At least give the refs a chance to call the foul on them. Tony didn't even try, he just let Dirk get the board and it cost us the game. He also shot 6-16, played atrocious defense all game that led to Tim getting all his fouls, and distrubited a whopping 4 assists despite handling the ball for 38 minutes.
And Nazr really played as badly as somebody could play in 1 minute of PT.
Aside from that, no, I'm not upset.
Pissed a little, because the game was there for the taking, all things considered. But all the Spurs need is one in Dallas. Tonight showed that isn't exactly that far off.
I'm pissed over the Dirk play still, just thinking about it makes me want to throw up again. Im even more pissed that I watched the entire game in the lounge at work with some of my closest friends, and it was all good until some got Mav fans come from out of nowhere the last 10 seconds and are talking all kinds of and running their mouths. That I'm still pissed about
I'm bummed about the loss but I am looking forward to Monday. Duncan was pissed at the press conference. He is getting 60 on Monday. It will make Kobe look like chump change.
Tell me who will be the refs and I'll let you know my opinion
Tony will do much better next game. His problem is he's VERY slow right now. He can't go anywhere near full speed, which means he can't play his normal game. The last two games there were a lot of times where he took a jumper even though he had a clear path to the rim because he knows he can't get there fast enough. He was better this game than in game 2, and he'll be even better in game 4.
