I have not jumped off the bandwagon!! The Spurs are my team!!! I don't normally greet them at the airport though.
what if they don't win any? will they not deserve your support?
I often laugh when I see many so called Spur fans at the airport when the Spurs make it to the finals. I bet most spur players kinda wonder where was all these fans all season long? why must they make it to the finals to get a warm welcome at the airport?
well after reading 90% of you in here wanting to get rid of 50% of the Spurs for losing game 3? I kinda know why you all pick and choose when to meet the Spurs at the airport.
so how many games do the Spurs need to win for you to greet them at the airport?

Hey Mouse, I do you one better. I was the only person here in Sacramento to see them off at the ariport. Win or lose, they have my support.
One of the great ironies of life is how the Ultimate Spurs Quitter now devotes his life to calling out other Spur fans.
This thread is funny, because I remember us Spurs fans greeting the Spurs at the airport even after we got swept by the lakers a couple years back.
I remember even that punk Derick Anderson saying he was impressed by the Spurs fans and he hasn't seen anything like that anywhere else in the NBA.

After game three some of us were on our way out of the arena dealing with a lot of obnoxious Mavs fans, and talking about the series with some pretty damn nice ones. Don't stereotype all of the fans on this board based on the loudest posters. We show our spirit in different ways
every spurs fans answer should be all the time, even when they go 0-41 on the road

i'm still a fan on that wagon. and btw, a quote from a friend on another teams website that i will use here, "the spurs could be down 3.9 to 0 and i still think they would win the series."
...seriously this is getting ridiculous. you're not playing some pathetic nobody team that has done nothing in the playoffs such as the mavs, suns, etc. this is the san antonio spurs and this series is so far from over i may not even bother watching tonight's game as it's significance on the series is minimal. i don't care if the mavs are up 3-1, they are not capable of winning this series and will not. gotta win 4, not three, and certainly not two...

I work at the airport here in San Antonio and we all laugh at the so called fans who try to suck up and greet the Spurs only when they are deep in the playoffs.
