    We have a visual

Dirk Nowitzki was limping, but he said about the only way he won't play in Game 4 Monday is if his leg is missing.

No chance of that happening. Several Mavericks said they were certain Nowitzki avoided a serious ankle injury. And while he may not be his normal self on Monday, he'll still be on the court contributing.

and u guys say he is a pansy......

Yeah Dirkless Mavs is no fun. Ankle roll can hurt but Mavs medical staff will get him game ready. Should be some good basketball.

    In '03, Mavs weren't up 2-1 by Game 4.

Tony Parker is 6'2" and he won't take him into the post, either. Concede the point.

Usually I want teams to be at 100% but after that flopping show Dirk put on, I don't blame the basketball gods for setting the universe right.

Dirk didn't look like he was limping when I saw him on the news today.

Seriously? A fan of the team that rosters Manu Ginobili complaining about flopping?

    Surely, you jest?

Manu and Dirk are two of the biggest floppers in a league full of them. The only question is who is worse and I think that rotates regularly.

Dirk a flopper, that's hilarious The guy doesn't even drive enough to BE a flopper.

And yea, in 03 he tore things up in his knee. Now it's just a sprain, even though according to him he "rolled it pretty nicely". Sounds the same to me :|

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree here.

I don't believe that you can make the claim that Dirk is as bad a flopper as Manu because Dirk isn't even the kind of player that takes it to the lane regularly, which is where 70-80% of flopping occurs.

Dirk was definitely the bigger flopper of the two last night, but in the long run it's really not even close. Manu is a penetration-saavy guard. Those kinds of players always flop more than forwards and centers.

Then we will agree to disagree Dub. Personally I think it happens way too much in the NBA by quite a few players.

He drove last night almost exclusively.

90% of the time he doesn't play in the least like he did last night. He shoots the 20 foot jumper at the top of the key as much as possible. Not much room for flopping there.

15+ of Dirk's FT's last night came on plays in which he drove to the lane.

Dirks primarily a flailer a la Reggie Miller. No contact but he's throwing arms and legs all over like he just got hit by a bus. Manu has a body full of bruises to show for his contact. Dirk has a torn hymen.

No disagreement by me on that second point. I really don't like it, even when our players do it. I think they should just play.

I actually wish Dirk was a flopper because that would mean he drives to the hole on more than a rare occasion.
