Do you have the extra memory card in your phone? If you do you can use the adapter to just plug into a USB port. If not, then yes, you actually have to pay for the service.

yea i wish it was easy to get the pics to a computer...
i got the little memory card that came with it
Sequ they didn't charge me when I sent my pics to my computer. I do think they took off the minutes used for the internet time that it took to email them to me though.
If you have vision (the internet ) you can send all the picture mail you want.
