Why I'm taking the Spurs +2

While most of us have an emotional stake in these playoffs and believe our team will win every game, there is a group of people out there that look at the game with an unbiased viewpoint. Their sole purpose is to break a game down into its components in order to arrive at a consensus on who will cover the spread. Prior to G2, I thought the Spurs had all the earmarks of taking the game. They were playing at home, had a little more rest, etc., and couldn't understand why so many handicappers were loading up on Dallas. Of course, we all know the outcome of that embarrassment. G3 had the Spurs yo-yo'ing from +3 to +3.5. And while most 'cappers on that particular site were taking the Spurs, they conceded that it would be a close game - IOW, the Spurs would probably cover, but had a good chance of losing anyway. And that's exactly what happened.

Now I'm looking at the comments/picks for G4, and the consensus I'm reading is that most 'cappers are not only taking the Spurs +2, but also feel the Spurs will win the game without question. Some feel it will be another close game like G3, but many others think it could be more like a 7-12 pt victory.

the champs are on the ropes. faced with a potential 3-1 hole. what will they do? of course they'll come out strong. the spurs are a proud team. some of you guys say 'age and injuries'. i say besieged and expereinced veterans with a lot of heart. with that said, spurs take this one to tie up the series and bring it back to san anotnio.
