    Hold Dallas below 100 pts.

    Regular season :

Record when Spurs hold opponents below 100pts - 61-10

When opponent scores 100 pts- 2-9

Playoff record is even more telling:

Record when they hold opponent under 100pts- 5-0

    Over 100 pts- 0-4

What do they need to do to hold Dallas under 100pts?

I think they need to make Dallas adjust to them, rather than vice versa. The Spurs need to put Rasho on Dirk, especially now that Dirk is limited somewhat with his ankle. Had Rasho been in the game after TD left, he more than likely would have rebounded the ball better than Horry and Bowen, because 2 of Dallas scores came on 2nd shot opportunities(FTs)

Then you can put Bowen on Howard to try to slow him down.

This is just a thought, but I think it might work.

The Key is in the Spurs hands...whether they decide to use it is up to them.

Agreed, defense, defense, and more defense is the key.

One problem that I think we're all sensing is that the dominant defensive performances by the Spurs seem to be fewer and far between. I'm not convinced they can do it (that is, play 48 minutes of in-your-face defense) 4 games out of 7, with the personnel and injuries. Throw into that mix the uncertainty of the officials' whistles and you have problems repeating.

But hey, I'm with 'em to the bitter end. Saturday night was just losing Game 1 of a 5 game set. Split on the road, and they can still do it.

I wonder how many fans in here know about the Loyola scoring stud that you use as your name, Alfrederick?

Parker needs to step up. We can't have Harris outplaying him in that matchup. Harris is currently averaging 22 points on 49% shooting while Parker is average 15 on 39% shooting. That's not going to cut it. I expect Parker to go for 25+ tonight

I had the same exact number(25pts) in my mind this morning, that must be a sign.
