Detroit and Dallas residents: metroPCS?

Anyone use this service? For $45 a month all this is provided:

Ultimate Unlimited. No contract. Unlimited local and long distance calling, unlimited text and picture messaging, enhanced voicemail, 3-way calling, caller ID, and call waiting, with additional calling features available.

I thought maybe they just support ty phones but the Motorola Razr is on the top of their page. There's got to be some sort of catch since I pay over triple for that same list of services a month.

According to their website, metroPCS is only available in Detroit, DFW, Atlanta, some parts of Florida, San Fran, and Sacramento.
