Clearly the NBA and Stern are now giving advantages to the best shooting teams. They want to make that adjustment for the NBA, slowly but surely. It's not like back in the day when the Detroit, Bulls, Lakers, Spurs defense would asphixiate teams, refs don't let us do that anymore.

U think Detroit struggling w/Cleveland is a coincidence????

    no.

1st time in history i agree with you. Seahawks got robbed and so did the spurs. Difference is the spurs get another chance.

Apparently it's true what they say. There's a first time for everything.

As someone posted above it really has to with overall officiating in the league. The NBA knows that tough D is low ratings while high-scoring games get ppl to watch. Remember how many people were into the Suns-Mavs series last year?

Anyway, I think the days of D (defense) and physical play are numbered.

Right that's Duncan missed a point blank shot at the end of regulation because of the refs, or Barry couldnt even inbound the ball right to finley because of the refs, or tony parker walking with the basketball a million times because of the refs, or the spurs getting outrebounded 10-2 in OT thanks to your small lineup, but its a fact it was the ref's fault, or Jet being clutch in OT and making jumper after jumper, because of the refs, or devin harris getting layup after layup (really all series long since game 2), because of the refs, or ginobili getting his costly TO's at the end of regulation... i can keep going and going

OUR 2 CENTERS FOULED OUT OF THE GAME, AND DUNCAN STILL WHINES HE DOESNT GET ANY CALLS ? lmao, what a crybaby. If you are soo good and soo talented and MVP here and there. lead your team to a clear win and not let the refs have any slight influence in the game. But missing shots at the end of regulation and playing 0 defense doesnt help much. Where's your defense btw ? 123 points in a "must-win" game for you guys ? we've averaged over 107 points against the mighty spurs Defense, thats what 20 points above what you give in the regular season ?...

Yet thats a cause to blame the refs.
