Nobody else. Starters (except Rasho) expect to play 35+ mins.
As much as the small ball has hurt and helped us, it doesn't matter. I don't think you switch away from it, as the Spurs are starting to get competetive with it. I am just not sure that starting a bigman now is an option. I think it might hurt more than it helps. But I would sure love some of Rasho's dependable D. Tough call.
i will just go as small as possible with the lineup...even duncan will have to come off the bench & van exel will start in his place... !!
PF - Manu
SF - Brent
C - Bruce
SG - Beno
PG - Tony
Wouldn't that be interesting...
Tim
Tony
Bruce
Finley
Rasho
I picked the game four line up.
If we start a center, I want it to be Rasho over Nazr. Rasho is the better presence of the two.
And I like Robert's effectiveness coming off the bench.
that sounds good. as long as theres no van exel
lol
horry does not shoot
orberta hustles and brings energy
if we are going to mess up the starters insert him
he did not do bad in the minutes he did get
oh my god, good thread, sickening outcome
Can DRob give us a few blocks?
Just sneak him in for a few minutes with a Rasho mask.
Yeah, I really thought Nick would do something, ANYTHING, but the guy just ing sucks. He's totally out of it. He has no game left in him. He should've retired.
If Pop started Nesterovic and the Spurs won, I guess the media would be all over his nuts for the brilliant "adjustment".
I see your point about the Spurs maybe beginning to get comfortable with the small ball, but their old line-up should be like riding a bicycle to them--once you learn it, it just comes naturally. Especially since that's what they've played all season long, and really, pretty much forever.
If we go in with small ball and the Mavs are still slashing through, throw Rasho in just as an experiment, if for no other reason than just to see what happens, you know?
I don't see why Pop has kept playing him. I mean, even in the Sacramento series and throughout the regular season he wasn't that great. Beno's not that great either, but geesh, I'd rather have him than Van Exel out there.
If it gets wins, people can call it genius for all I care. Pop has already been called a lot of things already.
Time to live or die with Small Ball.

IMHO, it would not be like riding a bike. The offense went though Tony most of the season cus of Timmy and Manu being injured/banged up. Now, it runs through Timmy since he is healthy. That has not really happened since last year's Finals. So either way, they would not be dancing with the girl they brung. So that is why I am inclined to stick with small ball.
Pop may find that he should've gone back to the regular season lineup in the beginning of the series.
