#21 in your programs, #1 in your hearts
Comming back from 3-1 with the #s he's puttin up, he'll have to be at least top 3
Spurs in 7

I'm pretty certain that Tim Duncan's place in basketball history is cemented and his Hall of Fame plaque has already been prepared. Nothing will change it.
You act like it's automatic. Get real.
Most people don't think it's automatic.

It's like you've never seen Rah!Rah! type threads before. Do you not have most message board experience??![]()
It is. Just like it has been every year that we've beat your ty team.
Remember in 2003 when the Mavericks held onto a lead in game six? Yeah, neither do I.
! Remember that time the Mavs beat the Spurs in a playoff series?
Yeah, NEITHER DO I.
You gotta get to four , and your team isn't going to.
I'm gonna tell on you. you're banned
I don't think it'll change much. In my mind he's already on the all-time, all NBA team with:
PG - Magic
SG - Jordan
SF - Bird
PF - Duncan
C - <insert dominant center>
you know what guys, he may be right. he hasnt won any 3 point contests. he may be on to something
It doesn't change unless they win the le.
oh the Spurs will
I agree. He's already a top 5 player of all time in my opinion
I wouldn't go that far... but top PF of all time... most likely.
Duncan's 1st half last night was God like
he was just amazing yesterday, even more crazy was that the media acted like nothing happend
I haven't seen that -- I've seen plenty of pla udes about the way that Timmy played last night and the way that he's played in this series.
Timmy's place among the elite of the elite is well-settled.
tim. in.duncan
the mvp has returned for this series and has taken this team on his shoulders. His indomitable will he has imposed upon the mavericks, causing foul trouble on the front line and cutting into the hearts of the imposters. Bring on game 6.
when Pop was interviewed they mentioned Duncan's play in the last question, like it was expected that he'd go nuts like that
I thought it was only me, but heard about that several times already today
I love Timmy, and I'm sorry, but I think he has to win 6 rings and tie Jordan and Kareem before there's a legit case for top 3.
Jimc50, version 2?
Jordan was JORDAN well before his fourth le. And where do you place Horry on the list then? Kerr? Are they among the Elite? I'm not trying to argue, but there are too many factors to say that number of rings is indicates a players standing on the all time list, although I can not that I argue with the first two on your list.
After the Spurs lose this series, Duncan will still be regarded as one of the best ever.
sorry, but it's not possible for the Spurs to lose a series in these playoffs with Timmy
