This thread will probably get shutdown or locked in no time, but can someone please tell me why there is NO TECHNICAL FOUL CALLED ON FLIP SAUNDERS FOR WALKING AND STANDING ON THE COURT WHILE PLAY IS GOING ON???? I thought it wasn't legal for someone other than the 10 players and 3 refs to be on the court, but everytime down the court, Flip is walking and standing on the freakin court.
Is this legal?? Cause it bugs the out of me.

Not as noticeably as Flip does. Watch the game that is on right now. He is standing there while the Cavs are running their halfcourt offense.

Flip was an awful choice for Detroit. After squandering all that talent in Minnesota for all those years he now took a great NBA finals team and went to a cookie cutter zone defensive plan with Cleveland that doesn't fit his personnel. He is making Ilgaukis look like a superstar. If they stay in this 2-3 zone in the 4th quarter Detroit is gonna lose this game.
Of course, Flip is probably giddy about making it deep into the second round.

God the pistons were a thousand time better than this at Christmas...I guess the last of Larry Brown's defence first mentality has ebbed away. I still think they are the better team in this series, but this is a far cry from what they once were.
^Yea, I can't figure out what happened to the Pistons all of a sudden? They were unbelievable all season long, and even in the first two games of this series...
Well all I can say is that they are starting to look like a Flip Saunder's team, alot of bark but ultimately road kill.

Statistically, their defense was much weaker than last season, but their offense was so good that only the stat freaks noticed. But it's a lot harder to get easy offensive baskets in the playoffs once teams start game-planning to take them away.
Edited to add: nice win. Even though it's been slow going, it's way to early to count these guys out. I'll believe someone in the East can eliminate them when I see it.
We agree on something. That was the most perfect chance for them to win this series. Now, they have a 5% chance of winning Game 7.
The Piston players hate Flips defensive schemes. He took a great defense and started tinkering with it. Zone is not their game.
