    Well, I can post again...

The Mavs sucked last night...congrats to the Spurs for getting it done and taking it back to SA. Especially Michael Finley...he was money all night...

Harris - make a freakin' layup
Daniels - where'd you go in the 2nd half?
Dirk - that was a grown ass man performance...too bad Howard was the only guy that helped
    Stack - never should've started...Daniels should've
KVH - I thought for a minute that he would be the spare to break Spurs fans hearts, much like Kerr did a few years ago...

Another game that could've gone either way...you gotta love this series! Game 7 will be insane...I don't know if I can take it. I'd hate to know what my blood pressure is at the ends of these games...

The best team always wins a 7 game series, right? It won't be easy, but games 1, 2, and 5 showed that the Mavs can hang on the Spurs court.

    GO MAVS GO!!

(JET game winning 3 at the buzzer)

I was surprised and happy too when I saw Stackhouse in the starting lineup. He's been so effective off the bench for Dallas that I really thought AJ would keep him there and go with Daniels as. I dont know if it threw him off his rhythm or what but after the first qtr, he didn't do jack.

Brickhouse cost us the game. Brickhouse is the best player for the spurs. He sucks. No way Terry shoots that poorly. Congrats on your asterisks win and getting 14 more free throws to add to it. Dallas has been Stern'd.

I knew we had this game once I saw the score in the 3rd quater and the way the Spurs came out aggressive. Once again held the Mavs to under 100 and came out with the W. Spurs in 7, Believe it.

I thought for sure Avery was going to start Griffin and have Stack coming off the bench.

    True...that's one trend to watch...

    >100 = Mavs win
    <100 = Spurs win

and also Josh Howard getting 20 pts (Mavs undefeated this season)...only had 17 pts last night...weird how that keeps holding true...

But if he had 23 instead of 17, maybe a Mavs win?! Something to watch for in game 7...

I thought for sure Avery was going to start Griffin and have Stack coming off the bench.
All the talk around here was to start Daniels, keep Stack on the bench, and give Griffin some minutes too...

It is if you're not counting game 3's massive lopsided freethrow count.

But we know the old Queen Miss Mavsfan1000 isn't smart enough to do so.

Way to grind out a win in an elimination game Spurs. How can the free NBA world not be impressed, coming back fro down 3-1 and winning the game 6, ONCE AGAIN, away? True championship stuff.

Looking oh-so-forward the three game 7's coming up, what a PO season it's been!

Stackhouse did not do the Mavs any favors, but who else would you start? He has been money in the past. Please dont overlook the intensity on both sides which just might have a tiny little bit to do with execution of opposing players. Both these teams are going all out and not everyone can have their way all the time.

    Game 7 will rock.

So then you can admit we got "Stern'd" in games 3-4 because the free throws were lob sided. Give me a break. Games 1, 2, 5 and 6 I think were called pretty evenly. Last night in the first half for the most part the refs just let them play. In the 2nd half there was one noticable call which was Harris forearm on Bowen that could have easily been a no call. But I have to say it was pretty even last night.

    # of FT's is pointless...way too many variables involved in getting to those #'s...

How well does a team spread their fouls out to stay out of the bonus for long periods of time?

How much more does 1 team drive to the basket than the other?

    Shooting fouls vs non-shooting fouls.

Last minute desperation fouls (non applicable to any game but game 6 probably)

Stfu you idiot. 50-39 is no massive lopsided freethrow count. Game 4 had the same amount of free throws. The last 2 games the spurs have had 25 more freethrows. The spurs have obviously have gotten the better of the calls. Especially the second half of last game.

No way the Mavs play that D on TP with Terry in the lineup. Poor assumption.

Ouch, did the old queen get her knickers in a bunch?

Yeah, 50 freethrows is totally normal.

Game 4 had the same amount of free throws. The last 2 games the spurs have had 25 more freethrows. The spurs have obviously have gotten the better of the calls. Especially the second half of last game.
Hey girlfriend, this series would be wrapped up already and the Spurs would be waiting the outcome of the Suns-Clippers series if it weren't for the refs. Don't you forget that kid.

I think the dishearting thing for Mavs fans is that that they got TD off the court for the last 6:30 of the 2nd quarter and couldn't shake the Spurs. Don't talk to me about Terry not being there. You had that plus were able to D up on Parker.

the 2nd half just looked better fouls-wise because the 1st half it was all mavs

3 fouls on duncan bowen ginobili horry

    i call bull i said i said
    a) You won. Stop complaining about officiating.
    b) More fouls were called on the Mavs than the Spurs in the first half, so I think it is hard to argue it was all mavs. It was 13 to 6 in favor in the second half, so that may be why it looked better.
    c) It didn't matter, the players (Manu being good, Stack being bad) decided the game.

What the ? The Spurs had 4 guys with 3 fouls at the end of the 1st half. They had TD in foul trouble (again) in the 2nd quarter. Yeah, the refs handed Game 6 to the Spurs.

Hey sunshine, its your fellow Mavs fan that is complaining.
Hey sugercubes, look at who I am directly quoting. That is who I am addressing. That quote is complaining.

But, if we do want to expand the scope, we can pull in a couple more examples of complaining....now lets see....what post on this thread is a good example....ah, found one!

this series would be wrapped up already and the Spurs would be waiting the outcome of the Suns-Clippers series if it weren't for the refs. Don't you forget that kid.
Only mavsfan1000 is complaining from the Mavs side. I have, as have other Mavs fans on this thread, gone out of our way to mention the game was decided by the players.
