Barry Bonds hit #714 in Oakland, ca today.
Whoot. This quote from the guy that caught the ball says it all for me:
There was no doubt who grabbed No. 714. Bonds' homer Saturday in Oakland was caught on the fly by 19-year-old Tyler Snyder of Pleasanton. He quickly left the Coliseum with his souvenir _ but not before giving his opinion of Bonds.
"I hate that guy," Snyder told reporters before he was whisked away. "I don't really care for the guy."
Gee, I bet Barry doesn't sign HIS ball, either.

"Our reaction in the clubhouse has always been that record's already been broken," Atlanta manager Bobby Cox said. "Hank broke it. That's the big one. What's the big deal?"
