I'm not an ESPN Insider, but one topic in the ESPN-NBA Section says a possible trade for the 76ers could be AI to the Hawks. If any of y'all are an ESPN Insider please post what it says.

I wonder what kind of package would be offered for AI. I think they've mostly got low-salary players right now in ATL. They'd have to be sending two or three players back, probably.

it's hard to figure who atlanta could possibly offer. you figure, definately harrington, but who else? he's not enough for iverson. though, their salaries might match up due to the hawks stupidity

Joe Johnson? But he's making half of what AI makes, I think, so you're still looking at two more players. Johnson, Harrington, umm.... Pachulia? They'd probably want a big, so maybe him. But then you still have Dalembert if you're the 76ers, and he's getting paid alot too. I don't see this one working, but I can see it happening, lol.

right now, iverson is all the sixers have going on. they'd have to mortgage their whole team to move him, and any other team would have to gut themselves to take him. it's just not gonna happen.

Yeah Iverson to Hawks is a slap in the face to Iverson. This man deserves a championship.

That would have to go down as one of the worst trades ever. AI leaves one bad, struggling team for another.

Also, Philly would rather get a bunch of unproven scrub players for their franchise player, instead of a superstar in return to re-build the team around? Billy King would be the biggest idiot ever if this trade went down. Oh, and I would go to Sixers Home games, just to boo them!

^That's true also. They already have Joe Johnson to run the point...AI would get them a few more wins in his place, but they still wouldn't go anywhere.

I personally would like to see a Webber + Salmons + some other Sixers scrub come to Philly for KG

there is no way iverson would go to atlanta. why would he want to go from one bad team to a horrible team? he wouldnt even show up to training camp if he got traded to that crappy team.

no he wouldnt go. trust me. if him and KG go somewhere it wont be to teams who suck worse then the teams they are already on. i think the organizations have to much respect for them to send them to places like atlanta.

As said when the trade deadline was here, the organazation that owns the sixers wont let them trade their franchise players.

im so ing glad we have geoff petrie as our GM. he knew exactly what he was doing when he traded webber. when hes on the defensive end of the floor for your team its like playing 4 on 5. not to mention his knee took all of his athletic ability away and made him nothing but a jumpshooter.

It's funny bc whoever ATL sends to them, the sixers will become the new ATL and the hawks will become the new Sixers.
    Different ony in name.

Basically they will just swap teams.
If Iverson truely cares about winning he will renegotiate his contract, and come over to the Spurs flagship to play with his boy Timmy D. Now THAT would be a nice backup pg
