Every playoff team that ever loses has several "what-ifs." Nothing they can do about it.
I'm not blaming the anyone. Just opining a bit.
I remember the 2004 playoffs clearly with that .4 tragedy. And now this. The Spurs have always in the past decade gotten in a position to get to the Finals more than any other team. And I'm hard-pressed to recall any team in the last 5 years that has had so many "what-if" recollections.
It's humbling to be a Spur fan. To go through so much adversity for rings. When we win, the feeling is glorious. But when we lose...![]()

Dude thats enough, the spurs got more calls than dallas.
If you wanna complain about something, rip on the early
preformance of the spurs.
The Refs didn't cost us this game.
david stern called on the power of the priory of scion, the world bank, and the illuminati to keep the spurs from going to the finals again
I know you said NBA champions, but can you say Dallas Cowboys? They've been in 8 super bowls, more than any other team, and if they had won the conference championship every time they played, they would have been in 13 Super Bowls. No one else is close.
It was very, very tough in the 70s.
No, if he wants to complain he can go into the official piss and moan thread. STOP STARTING THREADS THAT ALREADY EXIST.
Did you guys read what I said? I'm not blaming anybody. But for a team like ours which is expected year after year to make the Finals and most likely win it, it is humbling.
This is not a blame thread. This is a recollection.
This totally, totally sucks, but to me the .4 sucked more.
