The two dudes (besides you) in this thread so far DID show up at the last GTG, Mouse...you were there...you know that.

Dallas has D. Who did they get. If you are talking about Erick Dampier then that is not enough D to get past the Western Conference. Everyone else can't play D so what good does it do. And their best perimeter defender is Josh Howard who they probably won't play that much. Sorry Dallas might have improved their D just a little but they got a long way to go if you expect them to win the whole thing.
Even if they got some D, they let the one player go that they shouldn't have.

Players they should have let go:
LaFrentz, Walker, Bradley, Laettner, Juwan Howard.
I know, they couldn't have let them ALL go, since it was a series of cascading trades, but they should have just let Howard walk back when. They insisted on doing all of these STUPID trades, and then when it comes time to tighten the belt, Nash is given walking papers. Bad move, and they'd have had the money to keep him if they had let Juwan Howard walk, or gotten more talnet for him than LaFrentz and the endless Abdul-Wahad contract.
