This is the guy projected by cnn/si that the spurs will draft in the 2nd round. How you can guess this late in the draft I will never know..Just thought you would like to know. I think the Bulls or the Hawks are 2 teams we may be able to trade with for younger/athletic players!!

mockdraft haven't hints about who Spurs will draft : they jsut pick th best player available.
Veremeenko can be a good choice : from what I've read, this guy is full of talent but he has been injured and his desire to play BB is questionable.
It's a high risk pick but with the 59th pick you have nothing to lose.
High risk players are a good choice witha late second round pick.

PJ would be a great fit ("long" athletic rebounder and scorer at the 3 -- decent defender too) but I doubt he would be around when the Spurs pick.

Tucker is a 6'5" forward, which might not be a dealbreaker, but it certainly isn't what we were hoping for.

ESPN has him possibly going undrafted, and he hasn't signed with an agent, so if he's smart, he will go back to school.

I don't disagree, if he stays in the draft. But why chance it as a second rounder or an undrafted free agent when you can go back to school for one more year and maybe land a guaranteed contract?

Yes, the best option in first photo is to dunk and the best option in second photo is actually a hook shot. What other differences do you see?

You know for sure that some other team will draft him now ahead of the Spurs.

Draft Express now has him penciled in as our draft pick at 59. At least they are better informed as to our needs now. They previously had us taking a shooting guard.

PJ Tucker is said to have some grade issues at UT. It's possible that he won't be able to play during the season because of it. So, might as well enter the draft coming off of a good Elite 8 showing rather than wait and possibly spend your senior year on the bench.

But any crap about him going undrafted is a joke. I've seen him slated as high as a low 1st rounder. But I promise you that a ton of teams would take him in the second round, even if they didn't need him.

Anyways, mock drafts that predict the 2nd round are always a joke. Theres going to be so much trading of picks and many teams will draft based only on "best player available" in the second round rather than by team needs, so it throws a wrench in the whole thing. Don't take mock drafts seriously that go past number 30.
