San Antonio assistant P.J. Carlesimo would be interviewed, according to a source close to team officials. But Carlesimo, whose Spurs season ended Monday, does not appear to be a leading candidate. If that le belongs to anyone, it still appears to be Monarchs coach John Whisenant.
Gavin Maloof said he would have no reservations hiring a coach such as Whisenant, who won last season's WNBA le with the Monarchs but has no NBA experience.

I don't know if they've even interview Whisenant yet because he didn't know if he wanted the job. But I know that they had interest in him.
artest is a WAY better player than peja and until ron does something wrong this trade is still considered a steal. im so glad we got artest rather than that CHOKER peja.
