    3 games aren't meaningfull.
9 double-double on his last 13 games in acb is an impresive stat, Scola is a better rebounder than what some people think on this board.

Okay, so Scola is averaging 20 pts, almost 10 rbs, and on 59% from the field? Damn, let's bring his ass over already. He would be great firepower off the bench.

In the NBA, Scola will be at a disadvantage in terms of size and athleticism.

as far as size goes, he's heightwise the same size as guys like Kenyon Martin, Carlos Boozer, Drew Gooden and Elton Brand.

He has a good 2 inches on Malik Rose.

Tau is qualified for the second round after a 73-67 win.
    Scola 24 pts 17 rbds

One thing is sure : Scola deserves to have a chance to prove what he is worth in nba (with Spurs or another team).

Scola >>> Javtokas. Javtokas would never be more then a role player at the best. I like Javtokas' game but he's not a better player then Scola. Scola could potentially be a key player for the Spurs for years to come.

I hope the Spurs will do everything in their powers to get Scola cause I'm very excited to see his game in the NBA.

Scola is good over there's not so much to demonstrate in EUR and under FIBA's rules.

NBA, not sure if Spurs will use him this year, I'd love to see Scola in any NBA team (at this point).

    Scola's latest effort:

Today, TAU won 73-67 over Girona in the first round of the Spanish League playoffs.
    Scola's numbers:

    Minutes: 36:20
    Points: 24
    FG: 9/14 (64%)
    FT: 6/8 (75%)
    Rebounds: 17 (12 D + 5 O)
    Fouls: 3

    link

TAU won the series 3-1 and advanced to the secound round.

Contrast Scola's with the numbers of Fran Vazquez the 2005 lottery pick of Orlando who plays for Girona

    Minutes: 9:11
    Points: 5
    FG: 1/1 (100%)
    FT: 3/3 (100%)
    Rebounds: 1 (1 D + 0 O)
    Fouls: 5

or Tiago Splitter who plays for Tau and ia a projected 2006 lottery pick:

    Minutes: 18:49
    Points: 11
    FG: 4/4 (100%)
    FT: 3/4 (75%)
    Rebounds: 6 (3 D + 3 O)
    Fouls: 5

    Scola=Javkotas x Javkotas

Scola is the franchise player of the best team in Spain
He´s the go to guy player and he have always the doubles of the defense

He always have 2 defenderswith him, like Duncan, Nowitzki, etc

With all that defense he have this numbers, in the Spurs with Td inside and with only one Big Guy defender, and not the best, because the best is with Duncan he can have really good numbers

Oberto is best defender than Scola, but in the ofense Scola is a too much best player, he was the max scorer of the Olympic Final, a little thing, and the second best scorer of Argentina, from the Bench

Scola is a better player than Javtokas and it's not even close but you can wonder how his style of play will translate in nba and if he will find a solution for his buyout.

Only one more thing, and this is the last

When Nocioni played in Spain with Scola in the TAU, Nocioni was SF and Scola the PF

Now Nocioni is the starter PF of the Bulls, with 6´7", and someone says that Scola is Undersized with 6´9", incredible

In the Olympics Nocioni was the Third best player, behind Manu and Scola, and Nocioni was named the Player of the year of the Bulls

If Scola is better than Nocioni, and Nocioni is a very good player, and sometimes the franchise player of the Bulls, Scola obviously can play in the NBA

And Scola is 5 months younger than Nocioni too

Do some argentinians have a picture from national team with Scola and players like Oberto, Nocioni or Manu where we can compare their heights ?
I'd like to know if Scola is a legit 6'9" ?
