Train concert

Went to see Train at The Verizon Wirelss Theather on Thursday night and was quite impressed. The opening band was Need to Breathe who I had never heard of before and I want to tell you, this group is going to make it bigtime. I bought their CD and I suggest you do the same.

Train was great, they did a lot of their older stuff, but also quite a bit of their new CD. However, I was totally blown away when they did a rendition of Led Zeppelin's Going to California, and I did not think anyone could sound like Robert Plant, but Pat Monahan pulled it off, and everyone could not believe it. It made Fuel's version sound amaturish in comparison. For good measure he did Aerosmith's Dream On right after the Led Zep song and knocked that song right out of the park as well. Monahan is right up there in the top 10 vocalists all time, IMO, he was awesome.
