I notice that there are a few people here that like to spend there time hitting that silly white ball around....My Clubs are about 24 years old & I was considering a new set of these...Any thoughts?

Well if she was hopping, I might pay the cover.

seem pretty pricey, but they do look nice. at least they don't have that awful offset hosel and thick top that callaway irons all used to. i have a set of 15 year old taylor made tour preferred irons myself. i would go demo them somewhere in advance before you dropped over a g on some clubs though.
I recommend these.
Lee-I did not mean to imply that I would be paying retail...There are last years models available with 07’s soon to be coming out...(Some sweeeet deals are available right now)....I was wondering if anyone was playing the Callaway’s...They seemed to be very popular about 5 years ago but I don’t hear as much about them now...
Tlong- those NIKE SLINGSHOT OSS IRONS look like the Cadillac of golf clubs....Do they come with any special discounts for fellow Trail Blazer fans....![]()
The proper way to start a golf thread around here is to le it, "Hey Sequ!" or "Hey Jim!".
it's good you would be a getting a deal, but i would still recommend going to a driving range or club where they may sell those clubs and try out a demo set to see if you like the feel or not. sorry i don't have more input, i was a scratch golfer in high school but i only play once a year now - i am still a 12 handicap playing once or twice a year but have very old clubs... my driver is one of the original big bertha war birds, i just can't hit with those new giant headed drivers.
ShoogarBear-That is right, Where is Sequ?
Lee- I am not what one would call a “scratch golfer”....But I often break 100....
having a good time out there is what matters. i wasn't terribly happy playing golf when i was really good at it, but i have a good time when i play now.
