I don't know anything about it, other than them scrapping the relational database filesystem that it was supposed to use. Wait, I heard they were developing a much better command-line interface, which will hopefully be on the level of ksh or bash. cmd.exe was a joke. With QT being released on an Open-Source license for Windows I might see some of my favorite KDE software ported to it, and if I could have amarok, a good console s , and my games in the same OS without having to constantly be on the lookout for viruses, I'd switch back to Windows.

from what I read it seems bill gates is copying mac again and it does alot of what tiger does.
also I heard it was buiilt on unix but then I heard the opposite.
if it is built on unix it will be alot better then xp
heard the realease date is now feb it was suppose to be nov.
bill gates must be being cheap with his workers and not let them get overtime to get it released
also heard older computers are not going to work at all with it
all computers under 1000 mhx are not going to work
also micrsoft is stopping support their great os me finally. that was a piece of junk!

So if MS says you need a 1.0 GHz machine with minimum 512MB RAM, recommends 1.0GB RAM, that means you prolly need a dual-core machine with 4GB to run well.
That is what we were told.
