You see, the award has already been determined based upon regular season numbers. If the NBA wanted the postseason to determine the award, they'd award it after the postseason.
Since they don't, anything that happens in the postseason is wholly seperate from the award process.

Yeah, it was proved tonight when the Suns go up 7, Dirk immediately gets two quick FTs on a lame call against Marion, then Devin Harris gets minimal contact and a 3-point play. Bingo! Mavs back in the game... It angers me when Diop goes over the back about 40% of the time and hits Marion/Diaw everytime they're near the hoop, but since those two don't yell in German or fall to the ground, they don't get the calls... it's a little frustrating.

I don't like talking trash, but that was quite pathetic. And the Mavs got some calls tonight on their home floor just like the Suns got them in game 4. It happens.

The reason I have the rule is because with more posts, comes background. If you knew anything about me, you'd know that I very rarely blame the refs for a loss and have actually picked the Mavs in this series.
But since neither you, nor your 9-post lacky, know this, how can I carry on a civilized conversation with you.
Also, if you knew anything about this site, you'd know that the post with Ron Artest as his moniker and I have a sort of " you/well you too" schtick going on.
I'm not bitter. I think Dirk played his ass off and that the Suns threw away a golden opportunity.

Whatever. I was only messing with you anyway. I love TIVO. It allowed me to watch that odd moment of Thomas blowing a kiss to Dirk over and over and over again. What's that all about anyway? And what's the hand waving in his face thing? I know some players have odd rituals, so I'm not making fun. Just want to know if you know why he does it. That is, if you will adress me since I have so few posts. (which btw, if you would look at all of my posts, I've been nothing but kind to Spurs fans. I'm not one of those losers who comes in just to talk trash when her team wins.)
You'll never find me defending Thomas' antics. I could care less, except that they do seem to fire up the Mavericks. Oh well....

Cool. Well, since you are a Suns fan, let me say that I am truly amazed at what your team has done this year in the absence of Amare. And then what they did in two games without Bell. Nothing short of amazing. They are fun to watch when they are clicking! I do hope my Mavs take care of them Saturday night, but if I was a Suns fan I would be so proud of my team!
they can be proud all they want but thier style of play doesnt win. you and i both know that as kings fans and dallas fans in the past.
