In previous seasons, it was Snaq. This year, there is no question it's the 7 foot vagina.

No doubt, previous seasons shaq, thats why I mean this playoff season only.

There is no ing way anyone can say Dirk isn't getting a ridiculous amount of respect this season.
Detroit fans, if you think you have it bad with Shaq, wait till you get Dirk.

    Hahaha

What gets me is that the refs are giving him Larry Bird respect. But Bird earned his respect the first time he stepped on the parque floor.

Nowitzki is no Larry Bird. His stats are inflated because of the free throw shooting. His game is a sham.

Dirk is averaging two more trips to the free throw line in the playoffs than in the regular season. If you look at the stats, when dirk is limited to 10 free throw attempts or less, the mavs are likely to lose. their record is 4-5 in these games. but when Dirk is shooting more than 10 free throws in a game, the mavericks are 6-1.

Is this a legit poll? Considering Dirk is a perimeter player averaging close to double-digit free throw attempts for a playoff run, while Shaq was an unstoppable low-post threat, I'd say one lends itself to far more fouls and let me tell you, it's not the 7-foot sprite shooting 17-foot fadeaways.

Dirk is the only perimeter big I've seen go to the line in the teens consistantly.

Let me add I cought only the tail end of Bird's career, from around 1987 on...

I just think its funny how Shaq is being called for almost every use of his forearm and elbow with his pivots these days. I mean, we used to whine and about those moves like no other back in the day. But he got away with them farrrr more often when he was in the West. You easterners truely have no idea how good you have it. An old Shaq with 3 moves has chode bloaded all of you.

Meanwhile, jump shooting flailing, horse Dirk is getting more respect than any player in the league, and he has still yet to accomplish anything in his entire career.

All the talk of how Dirk shouldn't get to the foul line much when he's a perimeter big is laughable.

Number one, the majority of the fouls called on him in the playoffs came when he was driving to the basket, not on the perimeter. Two, he's gonna have a substantial amount of foul calls come on the perimeter as well because he's 7 feet tall--no perimeter defenders really know how to guard (save maybe Bruce Bowen). He's gonna draw perimeter fouls more than most players by sheer nature of being so unique and unguardable out there.

Shaq's been disrespected by the refs. They've been giving him "ass-fensive" fouls.

Dirk's been the favorite all throughout. In the media and everything this year.

Shaq's been called over the hill.

Shaq doesn't get the calls at all anymore. It's really quite shocking...
