    Barbosa was the Spurs' pick traded to PHX one pick prior to Dallas selecting Howard. How could the Spurs have drafted both of them one pick apart?

    The only what-if that makes sense to me is Michael Redd. The Spurs picked Chris Carrawell with Michael Redd still on the board in 2000.

    But it's pretty funny to me that Spurs fans even think about these things. Every other team in the league could do 10 times the what-ifs the Spurs can.

    Exactly. They could have drafted Barbosa / Howard and Marquis Daniels, for instance. But Barbosa and Howard?

    barbosa isn't a spurs type of player, if we had him there would be about 20 threads saying i hate him and he needs to be traded yadda yadda yadda. he plays no D that's why he's perfect for the suns. pop would've lost faith in him faster then he did with beno, so i'm glad they made this pick for the suns cause he would've been worthless for us
