Pop could actually coach. I still don't get that small-ball . Didn't we beat dallas in the regular season with the the centers playing? I'm starting to think Pop is one of those types of coaches that looks good only because he has a good team and not any sort of outstanding coaching ability. Thoughts?
Oh yeah- Avery Johnson is a genius.
I don't think popovich is a bad coach, the guy lead the spurs to 3 championship rings. I just think he made a mistake by going with small ball. And about your sarcasm towards avery johnson, the guy is an ex spur and a great coach i don't know what reason to dis him.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I think he's a basketball genius. Every time the Spurs looked as if they'd figured the Mavs out, AJ had some adjustment to make that kept the Spurs from running away with the games and he made Pop look clueless(mainly because he was).
Make my candy chocolate and my nuts peanuts and we can have christmas peanut M&Ms.
Pop has one rule of thumb, and you can pretty much guess his rotation by it. You put your best players out there.
Finley- Bowen- Manu- Parker- Duncan were the teams best players. Pop got them ready to face the Mavs, and he put them in a position to win. The shots just didn't fall this time.

That's not fair.
You can disagree with his choice of strategy, but the bottom line is he was our coach when we won 3 rings and he got this series to a game 7 overtime. He can coach.
