Thanks, I dont have the 03 dvd so i'll check that out on sunday.
Watching the Spurs come back and beat the Nets in a 19-0 run, (and the Mavs in a 23-0 run), almost erases the pain of this year...
almost.
Time to break out the 2003 DVD again!

is the 1999 game the comeback from 20 down vs. the blazers?
Uh, no. It's the Finals, the winning game against New York.
We can watch the Knicks struggle with the ball during the last seconds and never get off a decent shot...
I already have the 2003 game. I only saw part of the 1999 Game 5 and through a snow-filled pair of rabbit ears. The Spurs won their first le on moving day.
Does anyone have a complete listing - I can't seem to find it online.
That's Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. Just to let you know.
You mean the Nets. We beat the Mavs in a 12-0 run thanks to the Kerrminator.
Touche. I made the same mistake I called someone else on!![]()
they showed the Spurs 99' play off run on NBA TV awhile ago.
That was a 23-0 run.

Led by Stephen Jackson and Steve Kerr, the San Antonio Spurs drilled six straight treys during a 23-0 run in the fourth quarter, propelling them to a 90-78 win over Dallas and a berth in NBA Finals 2003 against the two-time Eastern Conference champion New Jersey Nets.
Damn! What's with all the mistakes in this thread?!
i remember in the Express News it said " Spurs go on a 19-0 run to win second le"
That 23-0 run, we were talking about the West Finals, not the real Finals. UGH! ANOTHER MISTAKE!
Well, at least you got the years right.
It's all my fault. Replace Mavs with Nets, and all is good, right?

This is why we are so confused. Both game 6, both come from behind wins in the 4th.The Spurs came through with one of the more remarkable comebacks in the Finals, scoring 19 straight points in the fourth quarter to erase a 12-point deficit. It was eerily reminiscent of the 23 straight points they scored to close out Dallas in the Western Conference finals.

Kerrs Game 6 2003 vs Mavs.
Required viewing by all new or young Spurs who have not seen it.
Enjoy.![]()
i have the 03' dvd i'll see it later.
It's so great that the Spurs actually have a more than passing and positive Finals history.
I remember when that wasn't true and seemed like it might never be true.
I've got all the games on VHS from that Finals![]()
Me too.![]()
After Game 6 of the WCF, when he Kerr Killed the Mavs, the headline read....
"KERRVILLE!!!"
I just remember the Steve Kerr went on the run to win the Western Conference the day I graduated from high school, everyone was texting like crazy and we ended up watching post game at Mama Margies on Wurzbach.
