Man, I hope he dunks on Radoslav 10 times a day in practice...and then goes out and gets 10 boards a night.

Nice intensity. Can't see how he won't be a better defender than Nazr. Too bad he has no outside shot.
Well, he nailed one from the top of the key in that montage. You never know...
Very athletic, has the potential to be a very good defender, very limited offensively outside the low post.
Much more aggressive then Rasho, and much less clumsy than Nazr, even with his body sewn back together.
That should all players with 6-10 or higher do!
Nice video. Looks like he has a good low post presence on both ends of the floor. And its good to see a 7 footer throwing it down with some authority. I dont care if he doesnt have too much of an outstide shot if his low post game is that good.
One thing all of us will like... he's going to dunk everything in sight and go after every blocked shot...
If Javtokas does join the team this summer and is good enough to start, then the Spurs will have gotten their point and center out of the same draft.
i would prefer he dunks on opponents, not just on Rasho in practice...

is he going to sign with the Spurs?
what's the update?
As for comparisons, he reminds me of Carlos Boozer when he played for the Cavs.
Not has a FT shot, with only 41%, less than Shaq
But With the MLE and the LLE: Aproximately 6.6 Million, we can sign Both, Javtokas and Scola, with more than 3 millions each one, less than the Contract then Nazr Mohammed is Wanting
Javtokas + Scola >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Nazr.
Bye Nazr. Have fun in Chicago.
I don't know if his outside shoot is really that bad.
In 04-05 he was 6-24 from euro 3 point line.
In 05-06 he was 3-17 from euro 3 point line.
he isn't a jumpshooter but maybe with some work with chip, he will be able to hit 16-18 ft jumpshoots. However, he needs to work on his FT.

yeah he's not a good jumpshooter, but his shot mechanics didn't look that bad - certanly an area he can improve.
You do know Boozer was actually pretty good and still is
I hope we sign him
Yes, but TD finished the season with 2/5 3FG: 40% and he´s not a good 3 Point shooter
If you shoot 3 of 17 (17.6%) form the 3 Point line (6.25 m in FIBA : NBA is 7.25 m) you are not a bad shooter, You are Stupid
If with this % Javtokas throw only one 3 Pointer, Pop is gonna Kill Him
10 Things learned from the video
1. He can dunk
2. Is the Euro rim height shorter than the nba because that one dunk was nasty
3. He can block shots. Didn't know that
4. How would he do in a set offense.
5. Does he have essential post up moves that could make him effective in the nba. Baby hook/spin move/drop step/turnaround jumper?
6. Seems to have good speed for a 5 man. That could attribute to good footwork.
7. Has great passion for the game.
8. One jumper the whole video? Hope that is a hidden talent
9. I need to buy me one of those euro basketballs
10. Sign him up
i feel better already
I don't say Javtovkas will shot 3's.
If he can shoot some 16-18 ft jumpshoots at 35-40% like Rasho, it will be great.
Damn!!!! That's all I have to say about that! This guy looks like he can come in and make a sudden impact like Tony and Manu. I sure hope Spurs can sign him up this summer.
Especially if he'll look for his shot more than Rasho does, and be an active part of the offense.![]()
