I thought for sure I'd find Bill and Hillary pics here with Hillary Clinton in a French Maid's outfit and a Bill Clinton caption of "Make me a sandwich!"
Will conservative grow the 'intestinal for ude' to do the same?
Lieberman Ally Advises: Run As An Independent
June 13, 2006
By MARK PAZNIOKAS, Courant Staff Writer
CourantA prominent ally of U.S. Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman urged Monday that Lieberman run for re-election as an independent and not trust his career to left-leaning Democratic primary voters in August.
John F. Droney Jr., a former Democratic state chairman who helped Lieberman unseat Republican Sen. Lowell P. Weicker Jr. in 1988, said Lieberman should make his case for re-election to all voters in November.
"I think to be terrorized through the summer by an extremely small group of the Democratic Party, much less the voting population, is total insanity for a person who is a three-term senator," Droney said.
Lack of Party loyalty is killing Joe. Lamont said he'd support Joe if he won the primary, but Joe won't return the favor.
MyleftnutmegAre we going to support Ned Lamont? Ah, no! (laughs)...
By running as an independent, Joe would only assist the other candidate.

You think Perkins has a bounce? I think he can be at least as good as Diop, maybe better.Centers: Amare Stoudemire, Kendrick Perkins, Martynas Andriuskevicius.
Anyway, back to Liebermann. It seems that his idea of running as an independent, against a fellow Democrat has gained the support of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Sen. Chuck Schumer..
DSCC Would Support Indy Bid by Lieberman
Political WireAccording to Hotline On Call, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee "fully supports" Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT) in his primary bid against Ned Lamont (D), "and he refused to rule out continuing that support if Lieberman were to run as an independent."
Schumer explained that there were degrees of independence: "You can run as an independent, you can run as an independent Democrat who pledges to vote for Harry Reid as Majority Leader."
Meanwhile, the AP says Lieberman "must soon decide whether to begin gathering signatures for a possible independent run." By August 9, the day after the Democratic primary, he'll "need to collect 7,500 signatures from registered voters to appear on the November ballot as an unaffiliated candidate."
This could cause a revolution in the Democratic party folks. Liebermann was as pro-Iraq war as the Bush adminstration three years ago, and it's time for him and all the other pro-war candidates who are so easily abdicating congressional oversight of the Executive office to pay the piper for failing to full-fill their elected responsibilities.
Oh please god let Lieberman run as an independant you dumb .
Split up the Democrats and let the Republicans walk in, just like that little Bas Perot did to the Republicans in 92.
That's why Lieberman only cares about Lieberman and has to go. If he really cared about Democratic Party causes, he would support the party candidate.
Maybe he, like Ronald Reagan and Zell Miller before him, has come to the realization that the Democratic Party left him long before he decided to leave the Democratic Party.
More power to him!
Zell Miller!!
You can have him and the Demos will throw in crazy Joe for nothing.
You're going to laugh yourself to a Democratic embarrassment this November. But, that's okay.
Republicans are losing power like Demos did in the early 90's, but feel free to continue supporting a losing cause.
Whatever gets you through the night...and doesn't melt your tin foil.
Don't read the tea leaves much do you?
