    Horry is old.
    Roberto is a stiff.
    Nazr is an oaf.
    Rasho is a slug.
    Mark is... glass fragile?

Duncan is only real post player, an anchor of Spurs. Whose jumper is going the way of free throws. Bankshot bankrupt, about to file Chapter 11.
He is still the top center of the league but we need a mobile forward who can play 3/4 position. Who can defend and rebound.

I think Robert Horry is a deadly weapon if you know how to use him correctly. Sometimes he has his safety on and he isnt as effective but he is still a valuable asset to have. The spurs will make sure they re-sign him, ONLY because they dont want to let him go and end up killing them later on in a playoff or finals game.

He needs to come off the bench. It's been proven over the last few years that if he plays too much he can't work his magic.

Horry is a crutial player to be played in crutial situations. You cant run him 30-40mins a game and expect him to be a miracle worker. He has stretches where he is extremely effective but its the coaches job to figure out where he fits in well and in what situation. Pop was using him way too much forcing him into situations instead of letting situations coming to him...Let the plays come to him, THIS is when Horry is at his best.

    Oh boy, Oberto?

I was going to say Roboto, as in stiff as a robot, but got mental twitch and the result was Roberto.

    Marks....glass fragile?

hey leave Marks out of this. He is there for comic relief, play pranks, and keep the locker room jolly. that is a valuable asset when things get gloomy!

I dont care what anyone says that boy can shoot. Unfortunately there is not alot of space in our roster for him to get any valuable PT.

If he is tradeable. Do it!

Don't need him anymore, cause I don't see the teams he can contribute against - esp. on the West.

I think Robert Horry did not get the chance to shine in the Dallas series at all...Pop gave him no minutes, instead Pop used little guys...I still feel that Pop should have had the following core starters: Horry, Bruce, Tim, Tony, and Manu...that's the perfect combo that could have won the Dallas series...

I don't think Horry is getting old or is playing worse...He's an amazing player as he always has been BUT in this case, Pop did not use him whatsoever just as Pop did not use Nazr...and Nazr wants out of the Spurs perhaps because of that...you never know...

All i know is that Horry was crucial in last year's championship and he will be crucial in the next year's championship too. He is the best big shot shooter...we're going to need him. So I'm glad that he still has two more years with the Spurs.

Just to add something, I think Pop should have used Nazr and Horry to a much bigger extent...We were majorly lacking in rebounding without them...

And Horry is also a great defensive player. I think he does a lot more than just hit big shots...He gets rebounds and steals, too...

i think he has one more good year in him. starting him in the playoffs was just plain stupid, he ain't that type of player. he looked scared out there when he was starting.

Our big man situation needs to be resolved so Horry doesn't have to start.

I think he has zero more good years in him as a regular member of the rotation. He's lost most of his quickness and athleticism, and he can't defend mobile forwards like he used to.

I think he could be useful for another 2-3 years as an 11th or 12th man -- it's always nice to have a clutch shooter you can pull off the bench at key moments.

He looked fine starting. In fact he hit the first shot of the game, a three, in game one.

Sadly, that was the only three he hit the whole series, I believe.

I don't think Horry had the opportunities needed to get rolling in the playoffs. Yes, he's older and yes he cannot get out on the perimieter and guard people, but if we had the right mix of players on this team, he shouldn't need to.

If the Spurs can get change out some of the spare parts on this team (Barry, Nazr, Rasho), address their backup PG and small forward situations, I'd recommend bringing Horry back another season. He's still is a valuable contributor and a smart, proven playoff performer.

I think Horry comes into training camp about 10 pounds lighter.
