Napoleon Dynamite looked stupid, but turned out to be a classic. I see this doing the same thing since its produced by the same guy. And of course, Jack Black. The ing guy made School of Rock watchable.
I'd like to go watch it tonight.

a friend of mine saw it. she said it was pretty funny ... i'm not sure if i trust her judgement that much ... but i'll probably still see it.

Which was what, all 5 or 6 episodes of Tenecious D? Which he and Kyle wrote for as well. Besides, not everything Bob and David write turn to gold, you must have missed Run Ronnie Run.

The movie was good. It starts off slow and you start to worry for a few minutes that you're watching Napoleon Dynamite 2, but it picks up a good 20 minutes into the flick. You get some good Jack Black songs, some great over-acting, and dozens of hideous Mexicans. So it was definitely a good time. I really like Mike White, so I'm glad he had a hand in this.
If this is the bad part, I already know I'll love the movie.
bob and david were locked out of the editing room by the director and studio for run ronnie run, it didn't turn out right as a result. they wrote a long letter on it and begged people not to buy it on their website. i don't think jack black is very funny, i said it was my personal opinion.

I'm pretty much a Jack Black fanatic. I found myself laughing at just the way he walked durning Nacho Libre.
Yeah, that's a good point. I read that a while back. I forgot that director had his hand in Dumb and Dumberer.

I actually saw it because friends dragged me, I had no interest in seeing it what so ever. This being said...i laughed!!! It was a great movie, I enjoyed it and once its out on DVD i will own it....to all of those who have seen the movie, i have one thing to say...

Im surprised like Lulac hasn't come out and like totally blasted this movie for being disrespectfull to latinos and very stereotypical.
They wouldn't. Jack Black, Dave Grohl, and a bunch of others were big into raising money for Kerry in 2004.
