According to our source in Vilnuis, the capital of Lithuania, the Spurs have written Robertas Javtokas and informed him that he is "officially invited" to join the team.
Apparently, 25 year-old, athletic big man (6'11, 250 lbs) got a letter from the Spurs' front office in recent days and now it's up to his agent, Herb Rudoy to work out all the details of a contract with the club.
The Spurs have been watching the player's development closely over the last few years, since drafting him in the 2nd round (#56) of the 2001 NBA Draft.
The warmly written letter, reportedly penned by R.C. Buford, makes it clear that Javtokas and his wife are very welcome to join the Spurs family in San Antonio.
