Where did you get Barry from?
It's been posted though
LINKA source close to the Spurs said that if Ben wants to a Spur, they would answer that phone call – a deal sending Rasho Nesterovic and Manu Ginobili, gets the money right for Ben, but would such a package interest the Pistons enough to move their best defensive player?

Hoopsworld is the lowest form of basketball site on the internet.
This is about as likely as Dirk not going to the free-throw line in Game 6.
Manu will never be traded. Are you kidding me? It is the SAN ANTONIO Spurs and the mofo speaks spanish. Best marketing material ever.
Things that make you go .....for CRYING OUT ING LOUD !!!!
If that happened, Tony & Tim would be the offense.
One is injured, the team is mega- ed for a while, one has an off night, the team is ed for the night.
This doesn't make any sense from a Piston perspective either. Rip and Manu play the same position, and I'm pretty sure Rip isn't going anywhere.
we have to stop overrating Manu
his run in the 05 playoffs were a fluke, he was 1/2 the player this postseason
to say half the player is crazy..... he had his run in the playoffs and had his faults, but the man is far from overrated! people always saying overrated when speaking of badass players, i dont get it.
The Metro Detroit area has a huge Turkish population. There was a contigent of fans at the Palace that just cheered for Mehmet Okur. I wonder what happened to him?
Stop to think about it, and it makes sense for the Pistons' new system. Manu has spelled Brent Barry, you don't think he'd come off the bench for Rip Hamilton? And who's to say Rip's going to be back next season? He's young, he provides energy, it puts a contributor on the bench, and he's a penetrating guard in a sea of jump-shooters. Rasho has played for Flip before and was productive. He's much more the mold of a center that Saunders wants. Plus, it leaves the MLE to sign another player. Younger, deeper, and pieces that fit.
I actually think it benefits the Spurs more, however. They have the depth at guard to make up for the loss of Ginobili's production. They have pieces they can move to improve the team, they still keep their MLE, and they fill their biggest void - a defensive presence on the frontline to compliment Tim Duncan.
I really wish someone else would have a fluke playoff run like Manu did. If they don't Ben Wallace wouldn't make a damn difference.
Spurs should do this trade. It will make the "little one" happy.
Umm ... I posted the link in this thread last night.
