Looking at their website and it is not up yet. For his outburst following game 5 is what the report said.

    Here it is

Cuban fined $250,000 for Game 5 outbursts
Mav owner claims he never told Stern playoffs were ‘rigged,’ though

Dallas owner Mark Cuban reacts to a call in the Mavs' Game 5 loss on Tuesday. Cuban was fined $250,000 for his outbursts at the game.

    Updated: 10 minutes ago
DALLAS - Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was fined $250,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for his outbursts following Game 5 of the NBA finals.

Cuban was cited for “several acts of misconduct” committed after Dallas lost 101-100 in overtime to the Heat in Miami on Sunday night.

Furious with several calls, Cuban went onto the floor to vent directly to official Joe DeRosa. He then stared down and screamed toward commissioner David Stern and a group of league officials, from the court, then the stands. He later used profanity during a postgame session with the media.

Well one good thing is that Cuban matches all his fines with donations to charity. So 250K for the fine (which goes to charity) and another 250K to charity.

Dan Patrick just asked David Stern on his show if Cuban does a disservice to his team. Stern said yes he does.

He also said that he will probably fine AJ after the series.

What a great guy. He should tell Stern to " off" to his face, its for a good cause.

    Here is an idea.

Cuban should get Stern to provide him with a price list for all the fines he could accrue- i.e. you say/do this you would owe the league $___

Then, instead of spreading idiocy, Mark could release his stress by doubling said league fine and sending the whole amount to charity.

    Talk about a win, win.

Stern doesn't want to be in the same state as Mrs. Johnson when the news comes down, much less the same building.

IMO fining him is not the answer because it doesn't hurt him. Banning him from the arena or at least courtside would do the trick. Does the League have that authority to "suspend" an owner before the game? Once the ball goes up, the officials take over, and they could have him ejected, but it wouldn't have the same effect. (Remember when Sarge and his entourage were ejected during Shaq's first appearance here? He got into a scrum with Willie Anderson (I think) right after tipoff and it disintegrated from there.

Yes the league can suspend him. He's been suspended before.

With Cuban it seems like the worst punishment would be to simply ignore him. It is unfortunate the leauge does not have that option.

Seems as though that's the only punishment that would really hurt him. Although seeing David Stern hand the trophy to Mickey Arison might cause him a bit of pain. . .
