True.
Defense still wins championships.
and a little rebounding helps also.
You combine Shaq and Zo and you get Tim Duncan.
act like 3 years and pouting results in losses
Rebounding was the main reason the Spurs lost. Bowen is an elite defender, but was pretty much worthless in the Dallas series cause he had to guard a 7 footer.
If the Spurs had some sort of big man who could rebound and do a half assed job on Dirk (ala Haslem), they could have fared MUCH better.
Haslem is guarding Dirk tough and strong...with occasional zone played as well as I've seen it played during the playoffs.
I hope miami holds on... cuban and avery can blow me.
Wow, props to the Heat! They deserved to win and "THE BEST TEAM WON".

Haslem with a HUGE ing rebound down the stretch
WITH THE PUTBACK to go up three. That was the ball game. Wade added drama at the end to keep everyone watching till the final second.

Haslem played some great defense on Dirk, so did Posey, hmm, maybe we should get one of those guys?
Welcome to the Reggie Evans bandwagon.
I hope you like your stay.

I think Javtokas fits that descripton.
Evans won't want to sign here for what the Spurs will have available.
Sequ, get your ass out to the SoBe parties!
Miami kicked their ass because, in spite of all their turnovers, they played good defense, kept the Mavs out the paint and CONTROLLED THE GLASS.
The Heat were the only team the Mavs faced to outrebounded them in damn near each of their games.
