umm........... Mark Cuban is an ass???
Antoine Walker and Derek Anderson have now been teammates on both NCAA and NBA championship teams.
Name the last such pair.
Why is this is the Spurs forum? Because none of the Mav fans in the NBA forum know anything about basketball before 2000. :p
umm........... Mark Cuban is an ass???
Lucius Allen and Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar).
NCAA Champions, UCLA 1967 & 1968
NBA Champions, Milwaukee, 1971
Allen and Alcindor did it, but they weren't the last ones before Walker and Anderson.
DamnI'm done with looking for those 2 players
I'm going to guess that, whoever it was, they went to North Carolina.
That would be a no. It wasn't NC, and it wasn't UCLA.
nope
It's not Houston University also![]()
That's easy enough to know...
Houston=Choke City
Cougars=Are in the dictionary under the definition of choke.
Hakeem and Drexler?
*edit* damn I just read the responses![]()
You've got to think about the spurs maybe.
You know - Shoog wouldn't put this in San Antonio Forum just beacuse the Mavs fan was invented in 2000
No, although the list of college teammates who won NBA les together like Hakeem and Clyde is probably not very long either.
Must have been someone from the Pistons. I can't remember anyone from the Bulls, Lakers or Spurs having accomplished this. Let's see...
There are no big names also I've checkd the Magics Thomases and Jordans and Birds. What makes it difficult is that I don't know the NCAA chapions and this is a key (Google it polandprzem !)
For excample Kerr and Beauchler were playing at the same university

Man these guys were probably scrubs which is why no one remembers them![]()
Okay, I'll give you a hint: yes, they were scrubs on their NBA team. But of course they were stars on their college team (although not All-Americans).
Another hint: One of them has a son who also played in the NBA.
I've got a game to watch dammit.
I found the NBA relatives![]()
If it came after the 71 Bucks and the guy has a son that played in the NBA that gives a very small Window for the NBA championship....Between 1972 and say 1982, Wasn't UCLA, wasn't NC.
Not Ferry not Paxon not Bibby.
WTF? Who else?
Phil Cheneier and Charlie Johnson were teammates at UCAL Barb and won a championship with the Bullets. I seriously doubt UCAL Barb won an NCAA le though.
no one on the current pistons went to college together. maybe the bad boys though, not sure on them
Mike Dunleavy, Sr. never won a le.
I didn't look, but did Willis and Smith win a national championship at Michigan State? Nah, someone would have answered that by now if it were that obvious.
