Actually, I think 1420 is out of New Braunfels and has always been there (well, for awhile, at least).
They broadcast Texans and Astros games.
When did San Antonio get another sports talk station? It's pretty good, actually. It's the Sporting News Radio Network, and they actually talk about sports. So far, much better than the 760 lineup.

I'd just never heard it broadcast. I've been looking for new sports talk forever, but I guess I just wasn't getting their signal. Has it always been clear in San Antonio?
I haven't tried to get it from my side of town, but if's there nothing good on once I get to the 35N/1604 area on my way home, I'll pick it up just fine from there to San Marcos.
I'll check it on my way to work and post the results when I get home this afternoon.
1420 is KGNB out of New Braunfels. Their FM side 92.1 plays some good Texas/Americana tuneage, but the signal is a bit weak sometimes...
I wish they would bust the signal louder, and add some local guys and give some compe ion to the pathetic 760.
Good old XM Radio, BUT, I would listen to AM radio again, if they added good local guys.
