Cats ing rule. Your cat probably wanted to show you the bird more than actually eat it.
I'm sitting in the front room and I see the outside cat (he showed up exactly a year ago and hasn't left since...probably because I feed him! hah) with something in his mouth. I go outside and as I'm going toward him he starts walking toward me and I noticed he has a pretty big bird in his mouth. Well the bird is ALIVE and starts flapping it's little birdy wings and the cat drops him. As Sinatra (the cat) is trying to get the bird again it ends up flying off but not before leaving some of it's food and feathers behind.
So...I don't know if the cat put a pretty big hole in this bird and all of it's food came out or what happened. It's just odd. There isn't any blood but where did the sunflower seeds and corn come from? Did the bird puke that up? lol I had to take pictures of course! I guess I ruined Sinatras bird dinner...oops! If you guys see a bird with a big hole in it then it belongs to my cat. lol
Sunflower seeds, corn and feathers!

Even though I ruined his dinner he was still as loveable as can be and still had a little taste of the bird in his mouth.
That is alot of seeds!

Awesome.
My cat once carried a baby bird around in his mouth for a whole afternoon before finally spitting it out and leaving it, but I don't think I've ever seen him just put a hole in something![]()
You probably want to put the antifreeze somewhere the cat can't get it.
Well, I think he eats the birds. There is a pile of feathers in our (well what used to be) flower bed. Those birds have no chance against him! muahaha
Your cat is a nice cat then Jekka. Sinny just wants to eat. lol
That's been there forever. I don't even know if there is anything in it.
Yeah, I was so proud last week when my dog came out the bushes with an armadillo in her mouth. She crunched down on it like it was a taco. Armadillo Supreme. She totally rocks!! But I was too stunned to take any pics. I just got the shovel and and picked it up and made my daughter toss it into the creek.
Poor Armadillo! lol
Apparently, pets like the sweet taste.
They probably aren't crazy about the dying afterwards.
Yeah, but the same cat eats cicadas - he loves them, and it's seriously disgusting because you hear the cicada noise and then a super-loud CRUNCH ... and you know exactly what happened. Pretty nasty.
Those are cute pics of your cat Sonia.
I have 2 of my own and the oldest one (Rolo) loves to eat birds even though his bowl of food is full.![]()
Ewww@ 2Blonde's armadillo story
Do y'all have a bird feeder in the vicinity? Maybe during the tussle the cat or the bird hit it over a bit?
Once you go cat, you never go back.![]()
The armadillo totally deserved it. He had been digging up my flower beds for the last 2 months. The little pecker deserved a hideous death.
Jekka that is gross. Eww. Just the thought of eating crunchy bugs... it gives me the heebeegeebees (sp).
Jman, there is a bird feeder in the back yard with just bird seed. There isn't anything in the front yard where he came from.
I like to fertilize the flower beds when I get the chance.
bugs and 'dillos, I love pussy.
My cat is too obese to catch any birds ... she just kinda looks at em mean.
Is he called Sinatra because of the blue eyes?
Ah. BBC.![]()
Silly Shoog![]()
The cat here has been bringing in snakes.
