That's the easiest thing for an NBA player to say since they know it can't be done....

And OAI ran that at 5.

How would Horry restructuring his contract help the Spurs sign Wallace, if it were even possible? , if he "restructured" his deal so he was making NO money this year we still wouldn't have enough (any?) capspace to sign Ben...

    He did say it.

    He just can't do it.

    And it wouldn't matter.

Rob was joking when he said he would restructure his contract because he knows he can't. What he did say seriously was that with Rasho traded, the Spurs need to find a center. I thought Tim was the center??

sounds like Tim Duncan's willingness to pay the additional $5m from his salary so Holt can re-sign Tony Parker 2 yrs ago

but it's against the league rules.

I wish the NBA would allow it.

Baseball, Hockey, and football allow it.

    What the , why not?!?!

Of course, it wouldn't matter, still don't have enough cap space.

BEN WALLACE IS NOT COMING HERE!!!

Gonna have to find a CENTER because TD is not moving from PF. To ask him to would be BS for TD - the man has earned the right to be the PF for this team. Might as well sign Nazr to as low of a contract as possible and bring Javtokas over to add some aggression and fire at the center position. We won't find any center free agents this year that will be any upgrade over Nazr. Just need to light a damn fire under the boy's ass!

@ the Ben Wallace to the Spurs phenomona that's going around. Is this something fans cooked up and are hoping for...or has the front office or SA news reported anything like this? Because to me it seems as far-fetched as us getting Lebron James to sign with us.

actually, baseball doesn't do it, but they kinda get around that through arbitration.

but in sports where they allow it, it would hurt us more than it would help. parker could come in and demand more money after his season last year. manu could have done the same after the finals in '05.

i'd just as soon leave the system the way it is.
