Dude has great size, but has hardly played any ball at all. I'd rather pick up Glyniadakis or James Lang if we're going the minimum salary dreadnaught route.

    Other info via google...

South African, used to play rugby but grew too tall.

He shouldn't be a complete stiff, and shouldn't be afraid of contact if he played rugby.

This guy is big and athletic.
I can see him (or another guy like him, there are maybe better solutions) as our 6th big who will get the 13th roster spot for playoff and will be activated only if we meet Shaq or Yao.

Dude did not rebound the way you want a 7'3" 290lb guy to rebound in Division II.

    Not Really.
Last year we had a lot of bigs to play against Shaq & Yao (Rasho and Nazr), this year we won't have way less players like that.

Lets say we get a starting PF in a trade, our bigs rotation will be :

    PF : Starting PF/Bonner/Horry
    C : Duncan/Javtokas/Horry

With this rotation, there isn't a lot of bigs to throw against dominant centers.
Having a big guy who will only be activated when we meet Houston or Miami isn't a bad thing (a 6 fouls to give guy).

    1 rebond/3min isn't that bad.

Well, call me crazy, but I'd just be happier if he broke the top 75 in boards per game in Division II. That rate just begs the question why he only played 25mpg after practicing there for a year.

Maybe because he gets 1 foul/6min.

    ....in Division II.

It's nice that RC wants to keep track of this guy, I just hope he isn't taking the spot of someone who could actually play in the league.

    ....in Division II.
    ... against 6'5"-6'7" player.

This guy is very big, athletic and doesn't seem to be soft.
If he is able to defend Shaq or Yao 12mpg (without fouling out), I wouldn't mind him as our 6th big.

If a guy his size didn't average 20 and 10 in Division II he has no chance to make it to the NBA.

And when he played in a division with players his size he couldn't even get into games.

    I haven't seen any athleticism

He wouldn't be able to do that for years. I think Glyniadakis is closer to contributing -- and he has a midrange shot
